Case Study- Gouner Law Firm

Greg Gouner of Greg Gouner Law Firm had been running Google Ad Campaigns since 2004. His results had always been pretty good but were a far cry from spectacular. In addition, as he had never really increased what he was spending, he felt that his agency was putting him on the back burner. He decided in December of 2017 to start shopping around to see what else was out there. (By the way this story is nothing new, we hear this all the time).

Greg was referred to us by McGlynn, Glisson, and Mouton Law Firm at the beginning of January 2018 to improve his ad campaign. He was hesitant to trust a new team to take over his PPC campaign, but decided to give us a shot. Greg told Catapult that he wanted us to make him so much money that he could have a marble statue of himself at his office. With that goal in mind, we immediately got to work fixing his current Google Ad account.

Google Ad Campaign

Keeping the same budget and landing pages, we were limited to only removing wasteful keywords, add new keywords, restructuring the ad groups, and tweaking the current ad copy.

Greg had three PPC search campaigns running: Bankruptcy, DWI, and Traffic Tickets. Each campaign had approximately two ad groups each. After restructuring the ad account, each campaign had approximately three to four ad groups each and a significant decrease in keywords used in each campaign.

The Results

With our modifications to the three ad campaigns, we found a significant change in the number of clicks and phone calls that Greg’s campaigns generated for his law firm.

Comparing the account’s 2017 total clicks to 2018’s total click results, we found:

  • 87% increase in total clicks for the Bankruptcy campaign between
  • 38% increase in total clicks for the DWI campaign
  • 2% increase in total clicks for the Traffic Ticket campaign

Comparing the account’s 2017 conversion results to the 2018 conversion results, we found:

  • 55% increase in phone call conversions for the Bankruptcy campaign
  • 22% increase in phone call conversions for the DWI campaign
  • 87% increase in phone call conversions for the Traffic Ticket campaign

 

Conclusion

By increasing the amount of business that Greg law firm received, he saw a great improvement in his firm’s ROI. Greg Gouner Law Firm has now become another loyal client to Catapult Legal Marketing, and continues to grow his law firm and expand his current practice.
